LOA: 19' 8",

BUILDER: Lawrence Stevens DESIGNER: Clark Craft

CONSTRUCTION: Meticulously constructed in 2003 according to original Clark Craft plans, this boat has been crafted with particular care and attention to detail, with the finest materials available. All mahogany construction: 3/8" marine mahogany plywood hull over solid mahogany ribs and frames; Epoxy Plus wood-saturation; stainless steel fastenings; finished bright. It features an 18° dead-rise deep "V" hull with lift strakes.

This wood-epoxy construction technique enabled the builder to construct this boat several hundred pounds lighter and stronger than a similar boat built of fiberglass.

There is a custom- built safety glass windshield with aluminium frame.

ENGINE: 1.7L DTI Cummins developed Mercruiser TURBO DIESEL: model 4V71222PD D1.7L rated as 120 HP @ 4400 RPM; Alpha One stern drive with stainless steel propeller. This engine has all manufacturer information including an information and servicing CD; 43 engine hours; hydraulic wheel steering.

This engine & prop give 45 mph (it is reported that speeds to 50 mph could be attained with a cruise propeller).

ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION:

Depth Sounder (fish finder) Eagle Cuda 128, GPS Colour Chart Plotter Standard Horizon CP170C Oil pressure gauge; Fuel gauge; Oil temperature gauge, Drive trim gauge; Tachometer; Speedometer, Compass w/ light

INTERIOR: Beautifully crafted seats and side panel upholstery. Full floor specially treated carpet.

GENERAL: Docklines; fenders, paddle, flare gun & flares

TRAILER: New Karavan dual axel galvanized trailer with hydraulic brakes (highway worthy). It is equipped with hydraulic brakes, dual axles and sliders which are ideal for the wooden hulled Mongoose. The trailer is also in 'as new' condition. It is 4 years old and has travelled only an estimated 150 miles.

OWNER'S COMMENT: This boat is absolutely beautiful and is in 'as new' condition. The same model was used in one of the earlier James Bond films as a get-away boat. It has always been washed and dried after each use and it has always been stored indoors.

This design is outstanding in its responsiveness and predictability of handling at any speed. It reaches plane quickly and its acceleration is impressive. For skiing, it lays down a wide wake, and gives you a fine test of your skiing ability. Four water skiers can be easily brought to the step with the high torque power plant.
