ACCOMMODATIONS: See attached plan. The yacht sleeps 2 and has 6' headroom. Settee berths port and starboard in the main cabin can be adjoined to make a large double berth. The settee berths have back-bolsters (back-rests) and shelves outboard. There is a rope locker forward; and storage shelves in the (forward-most) bulkhead in the main cabin. The galley is aft to port with a 2 burner LPG stove, stainless steel sink, supplied by a hand pump form the water tank, icebox and counter and locker space; including fitted dish lockers, etc. The enclosed head has a marine toilet with overboard discharge. A holding tank is fitted but not currently connected. A 'Y' valve is not installed but will be included. The head also has a sink and small vanity with storage. The sink in the head also is supplied with fresh water via a hand pump. The water tank capacity is about 10 gallons. |

The interior of the yacht is finished to the high standards typical of this builder: teak veneer bulkheads, solid teak trim, locker doors, etc.; teak & holly cabin sole; fiberglass head liner; tan fabric upholstery; white draperies. ENGINE: 1989 Volvo Penta model #2001 (single cylinder) marine diesel inboard engine (with shaft); 9.9 HP; 5 kt. Cruising speed, with a top speed approaching 6 kts. ; 2 bladed fixed propeller; 10 gallon aluminum fuel tank; the engine had a major over-haul in 1999; msc. spare parts: belts, oil filter, etc. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The yacht has a 12 volt DC system supplied by an alternator on the engine through a selector switch to 2 lead-acid batteries (new 2006) then on to circuit breaker panel thence to lights and accessories. The yacht has a full compliment of cabin, navigation and anchor mast-head lights and a lightning grounding system. |

BROKER'S COMMENT: The Nonsuch 22 is the smallest of the famous series of Mark Ellis designs that have become so popular and noted for ease of handling under sail. It shares the un-stayed cat rig with 'wish-bone' with her larger sisters. This is a very big little boat, with a lot of big boat features: inboard diesel, standing headroom; enclosed head, dodger, etc. She is owned by a very particular client for whom we have sold several boats.
